I love TerraFirma. We had a new foundation with a sump pump and dehumidifier four years ago. First, it is so great having a dry basement! Each year, TerraFirma sends someone to check the sump pump and the dehumidifier. Jeff did the inspection last year and this year. He showed me what he was doing, documented with pictures, answered my questions and showed up on time! We had an excellent experience with TF earlier this summer. Morgan spent many hours at our house evaluating our foundation, clearly explaining our options, and checking up on the crew once work commenced. We called TerraFirma with a pretty significant problem. We had just purchased a home and were a bit misled on a couple of items. The basement and crawlspace were mold infested (which we did know). What we did not know was that at times of the year, there would be some standing water in the crawlspace. We also didn't know that the drain from the sump pump was actually underwater (adjacent lake), nor did we know the pool backflushed into that same line and actually would enter the crawlspace whenever that process occured. The crawlspace was unvented and unconditioned....the perfect storm of BAD! Our goal was to first remediate the mold and then resolve the issues that allowed the mold to grow in the first place. Enter Terra Firma. Tulane and Terra Firma stood head and shoulders above every other company I spoke with. It wasn't jus that they were going to fix it- we literally walked through every step and every product-I knew what I was buying before we started. The crew was professional, on time and did exactly what they said they would do and in the time frame promised. With Terra Firma, we waterproofed and encapsulated our crawlspace, we insulated the crawlspace, we installed new sub floor drainage with new sump pumps with battery backup to lower the water table under the house (that now drains above the high water line), we installed new structural floor posts where others had rotted, we installed a bypass for the pool overflow and we installed dehumidification and we are in the process of now conditioning the space. Terra Firma led the way and did an excellent job both on the communication and on the installation (at the price originally quoted!). I would highly recommend this firm for anyone with complex and challenging crawlspace issues. Great work and fantastic team from start to finish!Bruce McKee

Seth from TerraFirma came out to my house to inspect my basement, which is starting to show signs of water encroachment. I had no idea what to do. He did a thorough inspection of the interior and exterior of the house, and then we talked. He walked me through several options to address the issue, explaining in a way I could understand, and being very receptive and responsive to my questions. He was very professional and courteous. Seth promptly sent me the quotes for the three options we had for the basement, and made sure to be tidy as he headed out!Even before this, the person who talked with me on the phone to take my info, and later to confirm the visit, was helpful and courteous.It's rare to have a such a positive experience with a contractor (just sayin'), but this was it. I am not sure when we'll be making these changes to my basement, but when we do, it'll be with TerraFirma -- and it'll be with Seth. Everything about this company is green flags!

I recently purchased a home that I knew had water encroachment in the basement. Terra Firma came and presented what can be done and I knew it had to be done. Tieran and his crew came in and did exactly what was explained to me. They answered all my questions and I feel very confident it will be a dry basement going forward.
